Getting Started

1. Download the package team-announcement-calendar-0_9_4.tgz
2. Unzip the source package using this command line:
   tar -xzvf distribution/team-announcement-calendar-0_9_4.tgz
3. See the INSTALL.txt file for further instructions.

Requirements

PHP and MySQL are the only server requirements. It supports multiple instances installed on the same server and database. The database component only needs to create a single MySQL table.

Features

This is a super simple, easy to install, low system requirements, events calendar for the web. Features include quick installation, universal accessibility, easy backup of data, and simple update administration. This is for web sites which need to maintain a calendar of events, which is viewable by the public.

This is not a "groupware" type calendar, it is a public events calendar which can be updated from an administrative back-end.
